Information on EGCG / Polyphenol Content

The polyphenol catechin EGCG, (epigallocatechin gallate),
 is undoubtedly the most biologically active
component of green tea, and also the predominant polyphenol. 

Brewing four (4) cups of green tea contains approximately 60-125 mg. of
polyphenols and most always has 50% of the polyphenol fraction present.
Selecting a product with the highest polyphenol (EGCG) content would be desirable.
